Global Warming is the rise in the Earth’s temperature resulting from an increase in heat-trapping pollution in the atmosphere. The use of fossil fuels (e.g. oil, coal) for both transportation and industry is a primary source of global warming pollution. We are already feeling its effect including the melting of the polar ice caps, melting glaciers, extreme heat waves and rising sea levels. We can stop global warming by building cleaner cars, reducing pollution from power plants, becoming more energy efficient and increasing our reliance on renewable energy.
